Nexxt Presentation

Site's statement

Nexxt (previously named beyond.com) is an all-in-one solution allowing recruiters to plan, build and carry out their recruitment marketing campaigns and reach the right candidates and at the right time. Nexxt uses a multi-broadcasting job system which means that the jobs are distributed to targeted career sites and receive significant exposure on local job sites that are relevant too, ensuring that your candidates find your jobs.

Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: For 20 years, Nexxt has been a generalist job board with a clear message in its name: move on, next! Find your nexxt career opportunity thanks to this site. The site attracts an impressive 3 million visitors a month, so clearly many are considering a change. On social media, there are 8 081 followers on Twitter, 3 747 on Facebook and 3 363 on LinkedIn.

Design: The search engine (keywords and location) is the focus of the homepage. You can use it for job offers or news/articles, which shows that the resources are just as important as the job offers on this job site. The scrolling logos are for partner job sites. However, since all the sites have exactly the same layout, it does make one wonder if they haven’t been created in order to make Nexxt look for connected. Even if Nexxt promotes diversity, the job sites created by the team aren’t very well known. Once in the job listing, you have an advanced search (publication date and number) to filter the offers. The offers can be sorted by the newness and relevance. Job offers have a relatively standard layout but the length of the offer can vary a lot.

The job board objective: Nexxt hopes to promote a number of key focus areas for their jobseekers. The main one are career, location, diversity and global.

Recruiter observations: In order to cater to each recruiter’s needs efficiently, Nexxt asks a few questions and includes a form for the team. A valid phone number is required.

Jobseeker observations: You must be in America to create an account. If you are trying to create one outside of America, the site will block you.

The job offers: There are currently over 1.6 million job offers on Nexxt.

Reactivity: you can contact the team on the Facebook chat.

Special features: Job alerts; the infographics and reports; the blog; the whitepapers; the press releases; the free resume critique.

Verdict: The infographics on Nexxt are definitely worth looking through. As far as job boards goes, Nexxt doesn’t necessarily stand out the most, but it attracts candidates and offers resources. What else could you ask for? Blocking candidates outside of America is a bit unfortunate.
