Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: Created in 1999, PharmiWeb is a specialist job board for pharmaceutical professionals from all over the world. That said, the site was originally designed to serve the NHS (in the UK) in order to staff the medical facilities. On the new homepage, there are four different portals (UK, Germany, Switzerland, US), which showcase the desire to reach a more international audience. On social media, there are 12 followers on Facebook, 1 318 on Twitter and 4 051 members in a LinkedIn group. According to Similarweb, 91 600 people visit the site per month, which has shot up since January. The visits are just for the job section, from all over the world (the UK, Germany, Spain, France and Bulgaria are the top countries).

Design: The PharmiWeb job board has been redesigned recently by Madgex, which means user-friendly navigation and clear information. The search engine (keywords, location, radius) appears over a backdrop image of falling pills. Just below, are four portals to cull the offers by country. If that isn’t helpful, you can always select a discipline, location or salary from the different panels below. A few articles, companies and jobs are also featured on the homepage. In the listing, the job offers appear in large boxes in a list. Logos are visible, but you must open the offer to see the publication date (and expiry date). Other useful information can also be found on the left-hand side of the job description. Finally, PhamiWeb provides jobseekers with filters (discipline, location, salary, hours, contract type, recruiter type, experience level, job title), which can be used to browse or search. You can also browse company pages.

The job board objective: PharmiWeb displays jobs in the pharmaceutical industry from all over Europe to improve the healthcare system.

Recruiter observations: The prices are online and it is easy to order job space onlne.

Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need an account to apply to job offers,

The job offers: There are currently 2 965 job offers on the site.

Reactivity: There is chat support on the recruiter page and the team answers very fast.

 Verdict: It’s great to see the new PharmiWeb make over! User-friendly and accessible in a number of different countries: what else could you ask for?
