mediajobs.fr Presentation

Site's statement

Since our launch in 2007, our unique approach to publish job offers has allowed many employers to find the ideal candidate.

What’s so different about mediajobs.fr? Mainly, it’s our firm commitment to quality over quantity: • The jobs we publish are well-presented, relevant – and genuine • We keep mediajobs clear and simple – and we don’t clutter it with advertising banners or other distracting content • We are firmly targeted at media industry professionals – not the general public

Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: In 2007, MediaJobs appeared on the scene as a specialist job board for jobs in media. According to EasyCounter, the site belongs to David Bernheim, but we could not confirm that with other sources. The site has no https:// security, which is always unfortunate. However, it does attract about 5 490 visits a month, which is roughly what the homepage indicates as well. We could not find any social media.

Design: The layout is very outdated; the content doesn’t even fill up the screen. The homepage is also the “About Us” section. Job offers appear in large boxes in a list. This includes a logo, the contract type, a publication date, the title and the location. The jobs are from large media channels. There are also a few filters (employer, salary, sector, function, location, keywords). When a job offer is opened, featured offers remain on the right-hand side.

The job board objective: By advertising quality offers (instead of a quantity of offers), MediaJobs displays only the most interesting jobs out there.

Recruiter observations: To recruit, employers must write to the team. The prices are online though.

Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need an account because they are redirected to an application page on the main website.

The job offers: There are 43 active jobs on the site. You can filter them but for so few, it is not necessary.

Reactivity: --

Special features: The application history.

Verdict: The idea behind MediaJobs is good. What’s surprising is the outdated layout, lack of branding and visuals and the unintuitive design. This doesn’t mean the offers aren’t interesting, but the site could use an update, starting with https:// security.
