Hanploi.com Presentation

Site's statement

Founded in 2005, Hanploi.com is the first free recruitment website for the disabled. Leading job site for disabled applicants, Hanploi.com registers over 80,000 candidates and hundreds of companies today.

The CED-Hanploi association was born from the meeting of handicap experts with the business world. Two associations members of the Ohé Prométhée network was joined by 10 big french companies (Capgemini, CNP Assurances, CEA, Crédit Agricole SA, Dassault Systèmes, IBM, PSA Peugeot Citroën, SFR, Thales, Total) and worked together to build up a service adapted to everyone's needs, candidates, professionnals, and recruiters.

Hanploi benefits from a full support of official and local authorities and takes part to several fairs and events. The website communicates on social networks (Facebook, Google +, Twitter) and publish regular press releases.

Hanploi has partnerships with several big companies, such as Adecco, L'Etudiant, etc.

Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: Hanploi belongs to Hanploi CED, which is a recruitment agency. On the agency website, the French law regarding handicapped employees is explained and how Hanploi CED helped bring about new regulations for disabled people in the workforce. You can even find the names of the team on the Hanploi CED site. Unfortunately, there is no https:// security though. On average, the site attracts 11 010 visits a month, and it keeps it’s social media updated for the 2 090 followers on Twitter and 5 857 on Facebook. There is also a LinkedIn profile and Viadeo profile.

Design: The homepage is quite simple and even slightly outdated. The sign in engine is at the very top of the page and the search engine (keywords and location) appears in the middle of the page. Some suggested services appear underneath and if you keep scrolling down, you’ll see sliding recruiter logos for those “who are hiring”, which you cannot press on (in the “they are hiring” section, the companies don’t always have job offers). There are also recent offers, sectors to choose from and news. In the job listing, the filters (location, job, the type of contract, the type of company, professional experience, and level of studies) appear on the left-hand side. No logos are visible in the listing but you can see the publication date and the company name. If you have opened a job offer before, an eye will appear next to that offer.

The job board objective: Hanploi strives to get more disabled workers hired.

Recruiter observations: The recruiter version of the site is exactly the same as the jobseeker one, but the main colour is blue and the search engine is for CVs (there are 3 005 on the site). Some information is hidden and the disabilities are not indicated. You can see the last CV update, the experience, the mobility and what the person is looking for. To create an account, recruiters need to provide their SIRET number (the business identification number). It is free to advertise for apprenticeships.

Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers need an account to apply to job offers (even if you’re redirected to another site). Only disabled people are allowed to have an account.

The job offers: There are currently 2 634 job offers. The sectors with the most job offers are tourism/hotel jobs, engineering jobs and IT jobs.

Reactivity: --

Special features: The list of founding partners; the advice section; the news section; job alerts; the test (you must provide your CV to receive the results).

Verdict: Hanploi has a great initiative and it is simple to use. Recruiters can hire for apprenticeship for free and disabled jobseekers can promote their skills in the CV database.
