KodoJobs is the first online job board in Iraq and Kurdistan, we aim at providing a common ground for employers and candidates to meet. Since it's establishment in 2010, KodoJobs helped more than 200 company by offering free job posting on our website and updates on social media. We launched our new design and set of new services that empowers employers to engage more.
Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: The founder of Kodojobs is Dana Sabah. The first job board for Iraq and Kurdistan, this generalist job site is now supported by BoldBit Company, a creative mobile app development agency. It’s been around since 2010, with ups and downs. According to EasyCounter, the site attracts about 11 000 visitors a month. A massive dip in traffic was recorded from September of last year onwards. Some pages don’t have https:// security. On social media, there are 1 547 followers on LinkedIn, 73 765 on Facebook and 1 258 on Twitter (nothing new since 2016).
Design: On the homepage, you are already in the job listing. There is a search engine (keywords, location and category) as well as clickable boxes just underneath: full time, part time, contract, temporary, sponsored. Job offers display the logo, company name, job title, location (in Arabic) and the type of hours. Job offers have closing dates (if they are closing soon). When you open the job offer, you’ll have a short description of the company and a job description.
The job board objective: Kodojobs hopes to improve the job search in Iraq.
Recruiter observations: To create an account, recruiters must request one. The prices are different for recruiters and employers. Jobs can be posted in English or Arabic.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need an account to apply for a job. You can upload your CV if you want to though.
The job offers: There are currently 23 job offers on the site.
Reactivity: --
Special features: The blog (nothing new since 2016); training courses for employers.
Verdict: It’s unfortunate that the https:// isn’t present on every page (most notably the contact page) and that the traffic is so low. There’s no harm to checking out the job offers, but recruiters might want to invest in an additional job board if they go with Kodojobs.

The economy is entirely dependent on Oil and there is no shortage of jobs here. The maximum number of jobs can be found in construction industry where expats work. Although women comprise over 50% of the university pass outs only 17% participate in the labour force due to the discrimination made between men and women and where women are given less importance in decision making
